Once completed, modular homes reflect the identical design intent and specifications of the most sophisticated site-built home – without compromise. Our modular homes combine the best practices of traditional, site-built construction with the technological, economic and environmental advantages of creating your custom home in a controlled environment. The component parts in any home are manufactured in a controlled factory environment according to precise specifications and tested to ensure that they meet industry standards. Modular homes from Impresa Modular are no different – we build our homes using similar techniques. The modular construction process results in a home that is built better, greener, faster, and with a fraction of the headaches presented by traditional, on site construction. Indoor construction in a controlled environment means exterior finishes are finished last, instead of first.
Selecting a home can be daunting but also the most fun as you personalize it and add all the custom options you desire. From construction in our manufacturing facility to utilizing our own heavy equipment and our staff of skilled trades people.

Disadvantages include a longer process for special plan approvals, with more restrictive code compliance for electrical safety, seismic, and thermal design. No alterations, including window placement, electrical or plumbing changes from the pre-approved plans make it mandatory that all design choices be considered up front and not during the construction process. For this reason, appraisals, mortgage insurance, homeowners insurance, and interest rates remain on par with new site build homes and existing homes. Buyers get the best of both worlds, reliable controlled factory built quality plus the added advantage of local code compliance that delivers lower mortgage rates and higher comparable values. The most compelling reason to choose a modular home over a manufactured home is in the area of financing.
